CAG pulls up PowerGrid for loss in revenue!

The 50-share Nifty index is expected to open flat on Tuesday following muted trend seen in other Asian markets. However, investors will keep a close eye on outcome of RBI policy review due today which is likely to dictate the trend for the markets. 1) The euro traded at almost its lowest level versus the dollar since November as investors held the largest position in two years betting on a drop in the currency before the region’s central bank meets this week.

2) India’s rupee rose the most in three weeks after disappointing U.S. jobs data eased speculation the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates.

3) Ghana will seek immediate talks with the International Monetary Fund to help stem the world’s worst currency slide, ending four months of contradictory statements from the government about whether it needs emergency aid.

Market Outlook-Nestle India's Q1 net drops 7 per cent!

The 50-share Nifty index is likely to open higher on Wednesday following positive trend seen in SGX Nifty.  Tracking the momentum, the index is expected to reclaim its crucial psychological level of 7,150 in trade today. Stocks in news are HCL Tech, BHEL, Tata Comm, L&T, Castrol India, Bank of Baroda, Nestle India, Repco Fin, Reliance Ind, and ONGC.

Key benchmark indices dropped as weakness in Asian and European stocks!


Key benchmark indices dropped as weakness in Asian and European stocks dampened investors' sentiment. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex and the 50-unit CNX  Nifty, both, hit their lowest level in a week. Nifty fell below the psychological 6,000 mark. The BSE Sensex closed 20193.35 down 255.14 point down. The market breadth, indicating the overall health of the market, was weak.
