Market Outlook - Nifty index is expected to open soft!

The 50-share Nifty index is expected to open soft on Tuesday following mixed trend in other Asian markets. Tracking the momentum, the index may open firm but may pare gains to test its crucial support level of 5700 in trade today. Stocks in news are Reliance Ind, MRF, Infosys, BPCL, HPCL, IOC,
Electrosteel, Siemens, Berger Paints, Hexaware Technologies and Apollo Tyre.

Market Outlook-The Indian rupee fell on Friday!

The Indian rupee fell on Friday, snapping two sessions of gains, as foreign banks bought dollars for their custodial clients, with the June-quarter current account deficit numbers due on Monday expected to provide direction to the currency. India's current account deficit, which hit a record high in the last fiscal year, is expected to be around $23 billion-$25 billion or 4.8-5.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in April-June, from $18.1 billion, or 3.6 percent, in the March quarter, a Reuters poll showed.

IndusInd Bank may raise $300 million from overseas investors!

The 50-share Nifty index is expected to open soft on Friday following muted trend in other Asian markets. Tracking the momentum, the index is expected to test its key psychological support level of 5,900 in trade today. Trend in investment flows of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and movement in other emerging markets may determine near term trend on the domestic bourses. The market may remain volatile as traders roll over positions in the futures & options (F&O) segment from the near month September 2013 series to October 2013 series ahead of the expiry of the September 2013 F&O contracts on Thursday, 26 September 2013.

Emerging markets like India will likely see more international inflows, including from exchange-traded funds after the US Federal Reserve after a monetary policy review on 18 September 2013 decided to maintain stimulus to the US economy through monthly bond purchases of $85 billion.

Market Outlook - The Indian rupee fell and bond yields surged!

The Indian rupee fell and bond yields surged after the central bank surprised markets with a hike in the repo rate on Friday, putting its focus squarely back on managing inflation and the fiscal deficit. Market Outlook- Gold eased to around $1,310 an ounce!

Gold eased to around $1,310 an ounce on Tuesday on prospects that the U.S. Federal Reserve will announce a modest reduction in its bond-buying stimulus at its two - day meeting. India doubled its import duty on gold jewellery to 15 percent on Tuesday, setting it higher than the duty on raw gold, which has been hiked three times this year to a record 10 percent.
